The Big Sur International Marathon has made arrangements to run a shuttle for runners staying in Big Sur to get to the race start. This will be available to guests staying north of the start only.

The shuttle will run between the Big Sur River Inn and Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. There will be three stops...

1. Big Sur River Inn (in front of the General Store)
2. Ripplewood/Glen Oaks (in front of The Big Sur Roadhouse)
3. Fernwood Resort

The shuttle will be available to runners and walkers only...their bib number will identify them as runners to the bus drivers.

Shuttle busses will begin at 5am and will loop through the valley at these three stops until 5:45 am. There will not be any transportation to the start after 6 am. Busses will only stop at these three stops. Guests participating in the Powerwalk or 10 mile Walk should board this shuttle to the Marathon start. Once there they will be directed to buses that will transport them to the start of the walk events. Walkers should arrive at the Marathon start no later than 5:30 AM in order to reach their event start in time.
